Message | Mr. Speaker, Even if the Presidium votes in favour of this now, it has no right to bar a future slate of MPs from repealing it before a set time. Lodamun had liftd fishing quotas in the past, but the GNRG has changed it stance and believes that quotas are necessary for fish being caught from natural water bodies. To boost fish production, it is best that we construct fish farms. -- Gordon Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, President of Lodamun |

Message | Mr. Speaker. Fish farms . Good idea. What if we added that as a 2nd point of establishment. The reason why we set time limit is because we do not want our seas to become bare. We look at this as a temporary measure. This will also boost food for poorest people. Easy food source. Phillipa Corazona D.A Representative on Justice D.A Deputy Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The time limit in the bill description says that the bill may only be repealed after 10-15 years have passed. It doesn't yet say that the bill is intended to be in effect for only 10-15 years. The stated time limit is one that limits us from repealing it, not one that limits the effects of the bill from continuing beyond a certain point. -- Gordon Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, President of Lodamun |

Message | Mr. Speaker, While we support the economic incentives that fishing would provide, we do wish to make voters understand how important the environment is to use, and as such will be voting no. Had we any seats, we might change our minds and put more thought into what wold be best for Lodamun. ~ Belle Nicholson SLP Representative for Environment and Tourism |
