MessageReasons for the change in spending are as follows.

Foreign Affairs = There is increased spending in foreign affairs to accommodate the new incentives made by this government to expand our foreign relations in the construction of treaties and trade deals. This has been proved successful so far especially with our inclusion into the MU. - James Wellington, Minister of Foreign Affairs

Defence = The Selucia Government has vowed to increase the military and thus the security of Selucia. Many different military resources have been produced secretly and this funding will help to maintain and more resources to be built. This has also opened up to many treaty deals as well. We wish to play an important role in the Majatran Union as well. It will also help create jobs in our economy. - Slade Brisbane, Minister of Defense

Health = Health is a priority for many Selucians as it affects their wellbeing and we wish for everyone in Selucia to live their lives to their fullest. - Joseph Joyce, Minister of Health

Education = Education is very important. This is what gives people the skills and qualifications to succeed. We want to help all of Selucia by giving everyone equal chances to succeed. - Austen Pierce, Minister of Education

Science and Technology = Selucia has worked very effectively in this sector but with the announcement to have private contractors to help with our space agency, it makes sense to cut a bit of our funding. Without a doubt, our sector is still really succeeding. - Richard Stark, Minister of Science and Technology

Trade and Industry = This is the sector that will really help move our economy to greater successes. The increased funding will help the development of new industries and jobs that Selucians deserve. I will also work closely with James Wellington on many trade deals with foreign nations. - Felicity Cunliffe, Minister of Trade and Industry

Please note that we are still in a fiscal surplus, the majority of our debt has been paid off following many fiscal surpluses before but the people of Selucia deserve some more spending injected into the economy.

Kevin Abbott
Minister of Finance

I am pleased to accept this Bill and also willing to hear what the other parties have to say. To my belief, my cabinet has produced an excellent budget that will help every single Selucian. This also works well with the many tax cuts used to boost our economy.

Alexander Schrattenhaler
Prime Minister of Selucia

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.
