MessageMr. Speaker,

We are in agreement. Disfigurement is unacceptable. We also find flogging a bit over the top. We are currently working on a treaty with Balthusia, and this will become one of the sticking points over whether it will be ratified or not: whether we can modernize our justice system to address human rights properly

MessageMr. Speaker,

Whilst we are grateful for the President's support for this Bill, we are concerned about the diplomacy he is engaged in with the Baltusian government. Baltusia is one of the craziest communist regimes on the face of Terra. They are dangerous and unpredictable, as we saw with their recent war-mongering against Gaduridos (OOC: see http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=187&p=75953#p75953 ). We urge the President to be cautious in his dealings with this government.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).

Random quote: "Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are like us." Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are not like us." Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction." - Charles R. Magel
