Bill: ALL Electric Grid Reform of 3728
Details
Submitted by[?]: ALL - Alternative List Lodamun
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3729
Description[?]:
Government policy on the nation's power grid Separate electric networks is not only pointless but also harmful. If Grid X and Grid Y use different technologies then Grid X and Grid Y cannot share electricity. This means that Grid X could face electricity shortage while Grid Y has surplus electricity. We don't need to separate electric networks. There's no room for differentiation in electricity; Electricity is electricity is electricity. A single, unified electric grid is clearly more efficient option. Franz Muller, Economic Policy spokesperson of the ALL - Alternative List Lodamun |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We are sympathetic to this proposal, which we believe would make the energy sector more efficient and bring down energy prices. Our preference, though, would be for a privately-run national power grid, overseen by a government regulator in order to ensure consumers get a fair deal. Private companies tend to be more efficient than government bureaucracies. Mathis Weiman Economic Affairs spokesman |

Message | Mr. Speaker, is Mr. Weiman referring to his own person and party when criticising the efficiency of bureaucracies? Clothilde Dewitte LNC spokesman |
Date | 13:51:25, September 15, 2014 CET | From | Conservative Monarchist Alliance | To | Debating the ALL Electric Grid Reform of 3728 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, I can assure Clothilde Dewitte that my colleague, Anton Rietveld, manages the organisation of the Conservative Monarchist Alliance in an extremely efficient and streamlined way. The LNC and other parties could probably take some tips from him. Mathis Weiman Economic Affairs spokesman |
