Mr Neutras Consul, The Government propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Commonwealth of Selucian States. This Budget provides a clear overview of the government's priorities. Increased spending will allow employment opportunities that will battle inequality between the rich and the poor in Selucia. Message | Mr. Neutras Consul, Yes there has been quite a dramatic downturn in the amount of spending in Science and Technology. However, at our review, the Government and I decided we did not need so much. It would be better off redistributing it to defense to strengthen our military. Looking at other nation's budgets, the amount for Science and Technology is relativity lower in comparison to spending in other areas. We still need funding to initiate innovation in this sector but not as much. There are still many excellent projects in the pipeline for this sector. Minister of Science and Technology Katy Olympia |
