Bill: Emergency Defense and Foreign Assistance Appropriations Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Zardio Federisma Partio

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3743

Description[?]:

Given the increased demands faced by Zardugal on the international stage, we propose this budget to better address funding for increased operations.
Increased Foreign Affairs funding largely goes to increasing development issues in Barmenia and Alduria along with more funding to the MU and MSCO.
Defense funding is increased to pay for deployment of training units, counter terrorism operations and for the peacekeeping mission being assembled.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman
