| We need to take more measures to ensure that we do not fall into the trap of other countries, and destroy our environment. We can still have growth and good environmental policy by putting more resources into 'green' technologies (such as chitin production) and making current processes more green. This will only be done by pressurising companies to become more environmental though, as outlined below. Some of you will say this will make companies relocate to other countries, we say that companoes will stay because by taking on these laws they will get a mark of distinction, which in todays society will make their products more appealing to the public than ones made with great environmental cost. |
