Bill: Pollution Controls Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Monarchist Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3747

Description[?]:

We in the CMA are committed to preserving our natural environment and curbing CO2 emissions, but nevertheless, we must express concern that the current pollution control regime is so strict that it is costing us thousands upon thousands of jobs, especially in the industrial sector. Combined with the sanctions regime we are currently facing, this is putting our economy under too much strain. There is a very strong case, we feel, for relaxing the current pollution laws.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We will not endorce this bill.
We have no desire to see our children growing up in smog, or to develop diseases, because of pollution coming from our factories.

MessageMr. Speaker,

In the same way that the CDP fears that this bill will lead to pollution, I call on MPs to recognise that Lodamese politics has already been polluted by the mere existence of Hosians in the Presidium.

My remarks are exactly what the CMA leader said they are... "extremely offensive" he said?
Yes, that is what they are.

MessageMr. Speaker,

To get back to the point of this debate. Pollution is bad. Lodamun's finances are not struggling, and our environment is important. We will be voting no.

MessageMr. Speaker.

The doom and gloomy CMA has spoken another decieving lie. Alot of those countries hardly conducted business with lodamun. These effects are minimal. We still have strong allies who are constantly willing to help us if we ever needed. We will not support risking the health of our people. Madness.
