| This Act rescinds the 'Creation of Hacking department' Bill (see http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=418813 ). The activities of the Hacking Department are doing nothing to improve Lodamun's safety and reputation in the world, but much to harm it. | Message | Mr. Speaker. This is a shock to me and my department. For matters of national security and common sense I ask the presidium to reject this in the Strongest conviction. I find it hard to believe that the CMA who is not part of pur countries national security team deems it nessesary to dismantle such a vital organ of out intelligence capability. | Message | Mr. Speaker, A respectable and responsible nation should not be engaged in hacking and cyber-warfare - which is precisely what the Hacking Department is about. We should scrap it. "Actively defending and upgrading our nations web security and government networks" is of course a legitimate function of government; that responsibility can be passed on to another department, perhaps to the Internal Affairs Ministry and the Lodamese Secret Services. However, the rest of what the Hacking Department does, is not acceptable: "- Actively search, hack and destroy websites and servers around the world who are critical upon Lodamun and Lodamese Nationalism. - Actively engage in a online warfare by hacking and stealing classefied documents in defence and financial areas. - Actively spreading propoganda on the web in favour of Lodamese Nationalism and our nation."
