Bill: Abolition of the Hacking Department Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Monarchist Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3747

Description[?]:

This Act rescinds the 'Creation of Hacking department' Bill (see http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=418813 ).

The activities of the Hacking Department are doing nothing to improve Lodamun's safety and reputation in the world, but much to harm it. It would save a lot of money, and avoid a lot of harm in the future, if we simply abolished this department.

MessageMr. Speaker,

It is evident that the CMA has a problem with the government "Actively defending and upgrading our nations web security and government networks."

I would like to warn the Presidium of the CMA's threat to Lodamun's safety and stability. A bill was passed with unanimous support from the elected representatives of the people in the Presidium. The CMA believes that their opposition to the bill must take priority over the democratic process.

MessageMr. Speaker.

This is a shock to me and my department. For matters of national security and common sense I ask the presidium to reject this in the Strongest conviction. I find it hard to believe that the CMA who is not part of pur countries national security team deems it nessesary to dismantle such a vital organ of out intelligence capability. This will weaken our state. Only more convincing me of an outside plot to dismantle the nations security apparatus the only wall keeping rogue elements at bay.

Rejection is key on this proposal. Lodamun or death!

MessageMr. Speaker,

We must not only look at this proposal as a bid to close the Hacking Department. We must try to find out why the CMA would want to abolish it in such a time. It is becoming more evident that the CMA is a terrorist organisation.

If the CMA continues on this route of total disregard of the lodamese people and the respect of the institutions that keep its people safe we would be forced for the protection of all of us to put through a motion that would take steps to consider the CMA a terrorist organization. Against the people of Lodamun. Including no confidence in respect of this presidium.

MessageMr. Speaker,

A respectable and responsible nation should not be engaged in hacking and cyber-warfare - which is precisely what the Hacking Department is about. We should scrap it.

"Actively defending and upgrading our nations web security and government networks" is of course a legitimate function of government; that responsibility can be passed on to another department, perhaps to the Internal Affairs Ministry and the Lodamese Secret Services. However, the rest of what the Hacking Department does, is not acceptable:

"- Actively search, hack and destroy websites and servers around the world who are critical upon Lodamun and Lodamese Nationalism.
- Actively engage in a online warfare by hacking and stealing classefied documents in defence and financial areas.
- Actively spreading propoganda on the web in favour of Lodamese Nationalism and our nation."

Lodamun is not helped by these activities.

MessageMr. Speaker,

That website was more likely hacked by Hosians who oppose LGBT rights.
Hosians have attacked LGBT demonstrations in the past: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=57&start=370#p76158

Hosians dislike the Lodamese state for its progressive stance on human sexuality.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I have no information on who was responsible for hacking the Civil Rights Council website, but what is clear is that the very public existence of the Hacking Department is bringing suspicion upon it - and upon Lodamun.

I can confirm as Director of the LSS that we have no interest in hacking the Civil Rights Council website. We have no reason too and we have not. This too must be investigated it may just have been hosian extremists well funded such as the HLF.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Hosian Liberation Front does many things I disapprove of, but one finds it difficult to imagine them wanting to crash the Civil Rights Council website, considering that website has only just published an extensive web feature on the discrimination experienced by Hosians in Lodamun.

As for the comment by the Minister of Internal Affairs, I am tempted to ask him whether he would have told us the truth if the LSS *had* hacked the website in question?

It is in the beat interest of Lodamun to tell the truth. It feels to me that the CMA is an ambassador of a foreign country or some international organisation. And not a representative of the Lodamese people. This conspiracy theorying against your country is appalling and must be noted.

We are not surprised that the CMA would rush to defend the HLF instead of defending the Lodamese state. Their loyalty to Lodamun is indeed a big question. We agree with Minister Powers.

It seems that the CMA and the HLF goes hand in hand. The CMA is against abortion and few days later an abortion clinic is been bombed. Then the CMA is against the hacking department and what do we see a few days later, the CRC website has been hacked.

This is NOT a coincidence.

The CMA is making lone deals with foreign powers against the government of Lodamun. Including previous governments. Far extending their limit as a opposition party. We condemn this. This is alarming must be noted. I feel they are being funded by foreign governments.

We see no reason to respond to the paranoid speculations and blatant lies of our political opponents. The CMA is, and has always been, a patriotic, constitutional and democratic Lodamese political party. Always has been, always will be.

The CMA is in no way patriotic. They have always attacked the state and centuries-old tradition that made Lodamun what it is today.
