Message | Mr Speaker -- We find that the costs of our health system is becoming more and more a burden for the average citizen to bear in part due to the way in which exorbitant monies are being given out in medical malpractice suits. Why, just last week, Mdm. R--- of Bozarland was awarded 1,500,000 RUT for the removal of a freckle that she claimed was the highlight of her beauty. We would like to see such frivolities limited. -- TSTG |

Message | Members of the Parlimant: There shouldn't have a cap at all. The judge was a huge idiot because he could've decreased the money that she could get. If we put a cap, then what happens when a doctor didn't do his job right when he was doing a heart surgeon and it costed the patient and his/her more than the cap due to the patient being hurt for 10 years but the doctor still said that there is hope and in the end, it was a lie. |

Message | Mr speaker We would hope that the cap would be decided on each individual possible suit. What's an exuberant amount for the beauty highlight might be adequate for someone who regularly harms, kills, or takes advantage of his or her patients. |

Message | Mr Speaker -- We agree that judges should have the common sense to limit amounts for medical malpractice, but since that does not always occur, we think it is prudent that the law intervene and set caps for such matters. Judges will therefore have to comply with the law. -- TSTG |

Message | Members of the Parliament We think that there should be no cap for at least, a cap for some medical practices not worth a billions of RUT. If we put a cap, then some doctors won't mind paying that if there super rich and do this for their fun. |
