Bill: Anti-Ignorance Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Socialist Ecology Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2166
Description[?]:
All individuals should have the basic right to appeal the decision rendered by a court. This will hopefully ensure that innocent individuals are truly proved innocent and guilty individuals are proved guilty. To apply the death penalty for minor crimes is pointless. Killing someone simply for robbery, or any similar crime, is a waste. They simply need correcting, so they can better handle themselves in society. It is ridiculous and goes against humanity and basic common sense to enslave anyone, even if they are from another country. Slavery is illegal in Quanzari, so even POWs shouldn't be enslaved. |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
Random quote: "The one bonus of not lifting the ban on gays in the military is that the next time the government mandates a draft we can all declare homosexuality instead of running off to Canada." - Lorne Bloch |
