Bill: Educational Improvement Act II --- (Learning)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Libermuns Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3748

Description[?]:

This bill will focus on how time is spent during school hours. We wish for all the time children spend in school to be concentrated on learning information most useful to them, and not on things that detract from the learning process.

We feel standardized testing focuses not on the information that they will learn but on the test format and how to increase scores. Each province will know how best to format the curriculum to meet their needs, while still adhering to the strong educational standards Lodamun has.

Last but not least, we feel that every minute in school should be spent learning, and as such it is unnecessary to sing the anthem unless assembly has been called.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We are relaxed about the proposal on schools singing the national anthem, but we are insistent that educational standards should be safeguarded at a national level.

Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation.

Random quote: Henceforth, the current system of first and second class stamps, where the rich can pay to have their mail delivered faster than the poor, shall be BANNED. There shall be only one class of mail delivery, and ALL mail shall travel at the SAME speed for EVERYBODY. There can be no class discrimination in the People's Post Office! There must be the SAME class of mail service FOR ALL! ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
