Message | Mr. Speaker, We believe that this is an area of our economy government is not required to control. The proposal before you is a moderate one, in which the private sector builds and manages housing while low-income residents are able to afford rent with a subsidy provided by the government. Currently the working class is segregated into public housing. This bill would allow for families of different income levels to be integrated within buildings and neighborhoods. We hope our fellow MPs join us in support. Darin Kant, Prime Minister |
