Message | Mr. Speaker, what does this mean? If a Province decides that polygamous marriages are illegal, does it mean that I can't enter that Province? Or does it mean that polygamous marriages will not be solemnized? Paul Murphy-Spaak Jr. LNC chairman |

Message | Mr. Speaker. Under this law. Mr Murphy Spaak Jr would be able to enter a province that decides to out law polygamy. However Mr Murphy Spaak under the law in those Provinces you would not be able to marry another woman or man whatever the heck you into considering our liberal laws with regards to that area. You would have to go to provinces where polygamy is legal to marry again. Thats it. Raven Valentinn Minister of Justice |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I would like to thank Minister Valentinn for this explanation. I just think such things should be explaned in the proposition. I just wanted to know if my two wives and I could enter Provinces that prohibit polygamy. I do not intend to marry another person. Paul Murphy-Spaak Jr. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I love both of my wives. It's unnatural to make a person choose between two loves. Polygamy is a great way to prevent adultery. My wives get along very well, as do our children in this polygamous marriage. Paul Murphy-Spaak Jr. LNC chairman proud husband of two fantastic wives |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The Honourable Gentleman is to be congratulated upon his happy home life, but alas, most polygamous families do not enjoy that degree of harmony. Ignatz Linden Social Affairs spokesman |

Message | Mr. Speaker, whether or not there are problems with some polygamous families has nothing to do with this. We are a unitarist party and wish to keep the laws on the national level as much as possible. If the Provinces can decide upon this law, the problem stated by Mr. Linden will not change in a bit. Or they would have to start case-to -case studies. This is ridiculous. Paul Murphy-Spaak Jr. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, My party does not believe that a local government should be allowed to ban polygamous unions. -- Gordon Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Opposition Leader |
