Message | KPJP like the immigration and travel articles, and would be happy to vote for them if proposed separately. We oppose the pharmaceuticals article; the current law is our preferred position on that issue. And we very strongly oppose the ones regarding the election term length and the size of the General Assembly. Kirlawa's General Assembly has had 717 seats, continually, for well over a thousand IC years now. There is no reason nor need to discard this tradition. (Besides, having it be an odd number deters ties.) And 42 months may look pretty odd ICly -- it's three-and-a-half IC years -- but it is especially (and uniquely) convenient OOCly, since it means that the election takes place at the same day and time every OOC week. :) |

Message | We will give you the pharmeceuticals and election term length articles if you give us the General Assembly size articles. (OOC: Reason being that I'm OCD and it bugs me that it has never been rounded up.) |

Message | The FPK approve of both the immigration and travel articles, however we oppose the article regarding changes to the pharmaceutical practices. We also oppose changing the amount of seats an odd number prevents ties between two parties and also gives a set majority seat number. |
Date | 15:59:25, October 26, 2014 CET | From | Liberal-Democratic Freedom Party | To | Debating the Reform 3748 |
Message | We believe that given the high number of seats in the General Assembly, having an even number of seats would be no problem. |
Date | 23:39:27, October 26, 2014 CET | From | Centre Party of Kirlawa | To | Debating the Reform 3748 |
Message | The Freedom Party will back the bill. |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
