Bill: Abortion Law Reform Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Monarchist Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3750

Description[?]:

We have tried and failed to restrict the law on abortion in the past. This time we are proposing only to ban very late-term abortions, in the hope of being able to actually put a law on the statute book.

This law will continue to permit even late-term abortions in those rare cases where the health of the mother would be seriously threatened unless an abortion was performed.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I do not think this is in the interest of our people, but rather the CMA's religious propaganda.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I care about the lives of my citizens. Unborn babies are not citizens.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Unborn babies may not yet be citizens, but they are humans - or at least developing into humans. The law needs to treat them with greater respect.
