Mr. Neutras Consul, The Government has promised to decrease the amount of Selucians in poverty. A minimum wage at a current levels has deterred employers from employing individuals. By decreasing the wage, there will be more employment solutions which will decrease Inequality as this government believes that employment will do that. More work will mean less are reliant on benefits, so the government can invest into more employment options and get more out of poverty. Current: There is no provision for a minimum wage.
Proposed: There shall be a minimum wage at a level that a full time worker on it can support a family of four without falling under the poverty line.
