Message | Here's how we view the government: Some government policy that go directly into the community is like someone stealing your pumpkin seeds and using the seeds to make you a pumpkin. You use that pumpkin to make a pretty awesome jack-o-lantern. That someone is the government. An example of this is road building and the police force. Some government policy that go directly into the community is like someone stealing your pumpkin seeds and using the seeds to make you pumpkin pie. That someone is the government. Not everyone likes pumpkin pie, but they steal your seeds regardless of whether you like it or not. Some people would rather have privatized apple pie, or they'd rather have a different type of pumpkin pie. They like their homemade recipe. An example of this is public health care, public schooling, and pensions. These aren't bad programs, but they are often executed (or cooked) wrong by the government. Some government policy that go directly into the community is like someone stealing your pumpkin seeds and using the seeds to make their own pumpkin. They give themselves entertainment from their pumpkin by throwing it off the Willis Tower and watching it smash someone in the head. It intentionally was the kid who bullied you in grade school, but frankly, you didn't want him dead. An example of this is military over-spending. Some government policy that go directly into the community is like someone stealing your pumpkin seeds and using the seeds to make their own pumpkin pie. They use it to smash it in your face. You might like the taste of it, but now your pumpkin seeds are useless! You had no say in whether you wanted pie! They just took everything you had for their own benefit. It most likely did't even help you unless you are a total pumpkin pie fanatic. An example of this is when this law exists: "The government may seize private property for vital government works." Stop this at all costs. We must take the extreme option here. The government should not seize private property! |

Message | Here's how we view the Government: The Government exists for two purposes: 1) To coordinate the efforts of society and do the things that society cannot or will not do for themselves, and 2) to act as a neutral referee between citizens or groups of citizens. We assert that there is a public sphere and a private sphere. Those things which you do by yourself which affects nobody else belong in the private sphere. Enjoyment of personal pleasures and such also belong in the private sphere. Things that you do which potentially can negatively affect the life of at least one other citizen is the line that separates the private and the public sphere. The government runs the public sphere, individual liberties in the private space are protected. The Government protects their side of that line from individuals who seek to use the public space for their own individual gain, and individuals protect their side of that line from Government intrusion into their own individual liberties. The economy falls entirely under the public sphere. but we are happy to leave the provision of luxuries and non-necessities to the Private Sector (capitalist industries). Provision of food and protection of wages is a public matter, provision of televisions and blenders is a private matter. Religion is exclusively a private matter- the government is not to intervene on behalf of any religion against any other, or none. Therefore, we are also not interested in allowing the government to promote religion over non-religion, or privileging religion over any other corporate entity. The Government is merely the referee between the two. And the Government will not intervene in individuals using drugs, for example. That is an individual liberty. As is owning firearms. Our maxim- All individual rights to swing their fist end where another's nose begins. |

Message | As a result, when the society as a whole needs some property, the society has the right to take it, so long as adequate compensation is given. |
