Bill: Pension Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Pragmatic Coalition of Conservatives~PCC
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3758
Description[?]:
People need control over their retirement. Some people take pleasure in working for pay, and they do not want to retire. They shouldn't have their tax dollars wasted into pension. They want their tax dollars used in things like roads. Others feel the need to retire early, and they should get the opportunity to do a bigger private pension that gives them a better retirement. We need this bill, as it's very important to the development of this fine nation. This bill will lower spending, and it will give people freedom. |

Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | We request more information on this bill. We are not entirely interested in being in the business of pensions- The unemployment subsidy already covers old age provision. Pensions seem to be superfluous in that count. If the Conservatives can agree to not touch the unemployment subsidy or the minimum wage, we can agree to switch pensions to a voluntary basis, so that people can have the sort of retirement that they wish. |

Message | We are changing all yes votes on the former PCC's Bills to No, for the sake of political integrity, seeing as how the PCC has bolted, and passage of their legislation now constitutes foreign intervention in Kalistani Politics. |
