MessageThis bill offers a 15 billion cut in the Budget of 6 ministries.

Justice- As fewer people are being incarcerated in Prisons, because of the efforts of improving relationships between the the population and the demilitarized police force, we can cut cut provision for Justice by 3 billion R.

The need for creation of new roads and infrastructure has dropped in the past few years as the transition from private to public sector of the electricity grid, as well as completion of the National Highway system, we can cut I&T by 2 billion and move for future cuts in the near future.

The expansion of the National Service Program has slowed in recent years as the number of nationalized industries has remained static over the past few years. Additionally, we are subsidizing fewer unemployed individuals, as the NSP has finally arrived at equilibrium, and old age pensions are finally maturing. Additionally, public health has had notable success against preventable disease and has consistently required less money over the past few years. We are able to reduce spending on Health and Social Services by 2 billion, and will look into further cost saving measures in the future.

Science and technology spending is reduced by 5 billion R as several of our trade and tech expos concluded in recent years have yielded dramatic improvements in the private sector, requiring lower funding from the public sector.

Finally, Several industries have been moved out of the public Sector in the last few years, as consumer tastes have changed, and certain things previously seen as necessities have become "luxuries". Additionally, ODEN is now generating 500 Million a year more than it had been before due to increased trade with our neighbors, requiring lower amounts of public support. We are therefore able to cut Trade and Industry by 2 Billion R.

We hope this bill is acceptable to the majority. The Minister of Finance argues that this bill, in tandem with the Revenue Bill, will eliminate the deficit, and put Kalistan back into the Black.

MessageWe will continue to look for cost saving measures in the near future in Health and Social Services, but as unemployment compensation will not be affected, and the NSP is at equilibrium, we will have to be creative in budgeting in that sector.
