Message | Mr Neutras Consul, We disagree with this bill. Post offices are like any other business and should not be subjected to regulation. Yes, they may carry personal belongings and it might be important that they get the job right but if it does go missing, it's the private post offices' fault. There is also the option to go to a nationalised post office, if it was very important and they want the state's protection guarantee. The private post offices may also serve a faster service, something that the state will not be capable of unless it invests more money into it. Jonathan Key Trade and Industry Minister |
