MessageMr. Neutras Consul,

I object to the proposal made by the Selucian National Party. Prisons consist of criminals, people who have clearly violated the law. The law is in place to ensure security around Selucians but this has not been done. Prisons are a result of this criminal activity and criminals are sent to prisons to not only punish them but for them to grow into better human beings. A prison should be challenging, not extremely challenging but the reason I say this, is that it will act as punishment. Labor satisfies this. We are not talking about non stop labor, there will be other activities that prisoners will partake to be human beings but labor is an effective way not only to help government services which will benefit all Selucians but will remind these prisoners of their punishment. Labor helps deter criminals from risking crimes and ending up in prison.

Also, seeing as prisoners are enclosed in a prison. It is essential that they do exercise like labor and go outside to get sufficient nutrients to be healthy i.e. Vitamin D.

This is why this government opposes to this bill.

MessageWe do not agree with the bill, Mr. Consul. Prisoners must contribute to our nation for the horrendous crimes they have committed. They must work during the day to provide for the nation, and this will help make use of such a resource.

MessageMr. Neutras Consul,

A recent poll http://classic.particracy.net/viewnews.php?newsid=441281&nation=35 suggests that the Selucian people do not agree with my esteemed colleagues. Almost 55% of all Selucians believe prison labor in this country is too harsh a punishment and wants to see meaningful reform. The people support it, the SNP supports it, will you support it?

MessageMr. Neutras Consul,

In logic, the Government and the Liberal Conservatives both believe that this bill is not suited in Selucia. This bill will not be beneficial to Selucians and after the people learn about our concerns with this bill, I would expect their viewpoint to change.
