Message | We disagree with this proposal, Mr. Consul. It is best to avoid the usage of land mines for should the army be reckless with it in the aim to achieve victory, they may cause long-term adverse consequences such as pollution of natural land and hurting much more people who are unaware they will be stepping on untriggered land mines. It is a fearful thought and we do not wish to see it become a reality. |

Message | Mr. Neutras Consul, The Army is familiar with the consequences of land mines. This awareness will influence their actions. Yes, there may be long term consequences such as the removal of the land mines, the destruction the land mines have produced and innocent people dying. However, it depends on the context. If there was such a government that murdered most of it's citizens and land mines were the only feasible way to win the war, then you can expect the Army to take such an action. They need to reserve the right for this, to protect Selucian's interests overseas and at home. They will not be reckless. Alexander Schrattenhaler Deputy Prime Minister of Selucia and Minister of Defense |
