Message | If we don't allow those wronged to recover economic damages, they will become a burden of the state and the state then becomes the defacto insurer for doctors. |

Message | Isn't the medical and legal expenses, as well as the payment equal to economic loss and loss of consortium enough. Allowing up to 30,000 pounds, which is equal to many years of pay, could create a litigious society. |

Message | 30,000 pounds shouldn't be enough to create a litigious society, and people should be compensated for the pain they suffer as a result of others neglect when that individual has a duty to care. I could consider lowing the cap, but it seems like there should be some recovery for the pain the individual has put the plaintiff through. |

Message | The highest income in Luthori is just under 32,000 pounds, and there is just over 800 people who earn more than 10,000 pounds annually. If in one court case, you could earn more than three years pay, would you do it? |
