http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=423075

Our party has recently been informed that we may have a neighbour with hostile intent. While the SLP do not wish to engage unnecessarily, we must prepare for all eventualities. I have put this up for debate in the hopes that the Presidium can come to a conclusion that will stop any type of trespass on our home and land.

MessageValruzia is trying to claim part of our territories for themselves.

Mr. Speaker, this is a declaration of war for US.

We believe we should start immediate negociation for peace and send food brackets to Valruzia poor, as way to gain their support,

I suggest we start a black Market in Valruzia

These are just suggestion.

MessageMr. Speaker. Mr. President.

I would to suggest the Minister of Foreign Affairs get in touch their minister and start bringing the situation to a level where both sides understand that war is not an option, especially over something small. We could be increasing trade with each other instead of war mongering. Also a suggestion from us would be to secure our borders in that region considering HLF is still active and Valcruzia should consider that too. Our party stance at moment on foreign policy is not war orientated but to get the sanctions removed and too escalate lucrative trade deals. We wont support a war offensive. However we will support operations against HLF threat. Which is a threat to both Lodamun and Valcruzia they must have some sense in understanding that.

our Foreign Ministry contacted Valruzia and waiting for answer. Unfortunately our Foreign Minister is currently in official visit of Republic of Aloria.

For now it looks like current cabinet (majority in their Sejm (Diet)) oppose the declaration.

MessageTo reiterate what I have said in the message to your Foreign Minister, these proposals are not grounded in reality. The Valruzian people do not support conflict with Lodamun and it is my strong belief that the Conservative Party will drop them when it becomes apparent that their ludicrous suggestions will not receive the backing of the Valruzian populace. Our Head of Government, Stefania Kaszynski, will not sanction any such act so rest assured that we have no intention whatsoever of pursuing conflict.

What this does bring to light however is the need for closer cooperation between our two countries in the future. We have articulated to your Foreign Minister a desire to pursue a cross-border initiative designed to stamp out the threat posed by the Hosian Liberation Front once and for all. The ongoing activities of the HLF threatens the stability of North Seleya and we are very keen to see this movement of religious terrorists ended for good. I would urge all of the Lodamese parties to support this initiative both in the interests of halting the spread of terrorism and stronger relations between our two countries.

We highly advise the Liberal Communist Party to avoid sensationalised rhetoric - it seldom has a place in international affairs, and this matter is no exception.

Regards,

Arturo Castro

We believe that stamping out the HLF in Lodamun is something that our police must do, what kind of country are we if we are not to deal with our own internal problem

We do not want Valruzia interferring in the affairs of our nation even for our own good.

MessageMr. Speaker,

here is explanation from government of Valruzia to our Foreign Ministry:
(even I see that they answer here too)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Foreign Secretary,

I apologise for the foolish behavior of Valruzia's other two parties - simply put, this is a case of boys playing at war.

The Technocratic Party has historical grievances with Lodamun based on events which transpired well over 650 years ago, rest assured that the Valruzian people do not share these views. The Conservative Party has strong links to the former Conservative Monarchist Alliance - a party which you may be familiar with as they operated in Lodamun until very recently - I suspect their interest in Lodamun has more to do with petty vindictiveness that the Lodamese people do not share their backward views than anything remotely substantive.

That said, I have confidence that these proposals will amount to nothing. The Valruzian people are not in favour of blindly entering into military conflict with a nation we have worked hard at restoring relations with. Many Valruzians are happy that Lodamun is moving in a more secular direction and would be loath to see war break out over the Conservatives ridiculous claims to hold sovereignty over Lodamese territory. While their behavior is undoubtedly foolish to say the least, I do not believe that the Conservatives are idiotic enough to pursue military conflict against the wishes of the vast majority Valruzian people. The Technocrats are unlikely to pursue conflict without the support of the Seleyan Union which is highly unlikely to give their approval to what essentially amounts to an act of imperialism.

Essentially these proposals amount only to rhetoric, pure and simple. I do not see conflict breaking out between Valruzia and Lodamun, now or at any point in the near future.

That said, now would seem to be a prudent time to strengthen the relations between our two countries so the Valruzian people might see the benefit of a strong bond with Lodamun. We are aware that the ongoing activities of the Hosian Liberation Front presents a significant problem for your government; we have evidence that the HLF may be in the process of attempting to set up terror cells on this side of the border. What we would like to propose is a cross border initiative to stamp out this threat once and for all. We would be happy to give the Lodamese Government access to the intelligence that is being gathered by the Valruzian Secret Service alongside personnel and other resources to assist in the halting of the activities of this terrorist organisation. Give this proposal some consideration and feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.

Kind regards,

Arturo Castro
Foreign Secretary of Valruzia

If we want better life for our citizens and growing economy in future, we have to dismantle the treaty which is still signed by 13 countries.

"Nation of the world, join the Democratic Worker's Kingdom of Baltusia and Condemn the action of the inacceptable goonvernment of the Lodamun."

the Goonvernment ? seriously ? well. I believe we should sign the treaty ourselves and recognize that what we have done in the past was wrong, and that we have no intention to get backward again.
After that, we can agreement with individual government to have them pass executive orders to stop the treaty application.

the treaty was draft to allow Lodamun to escape sanctions by ending its unfair law agaisnt hosians. not to punish Lodamun with no reason.

MessageAs the Liberal Communist Party are not part of the Lodamese Government we will disregard their views as irrelevant - what we are however interested in is the view of the Lodamese Cabinet and whether or not they will support our proposal.

The Valruzian Government has a significant interest in the resolution of what has been a historical problem, not only for Lodamun but North Seleya as a whole. We have evidence which suggests that the HLF is in the process of attempting to set up terror cells on our side of the border, we also have a substantial body of intelligence reports regarding HLF operations in Lodamun which we believe would be of significant interest to the Presidium. If the Lodamese Government is not interested in having access to this information then we will respect that decision, however we politely advise that in the interests of the security and welfare of the ordinary citizens of Lodamun that it might be wise to take us up on our offer.
