| Mr. Speaker, I propose the Emergency National Mobilization Act of 3774 to ensure Vorona is prepared for the entry into the Lourenne Civil War and to best protect our own shores from potential foreign invaders. Congressman Wolfgang Beyer NSVWP Leader Minister of Defense ----- Article 1 The Voronan Congress finds that: - a) There are approximately 6,151,631 males between the ages of 15 and 65 in Bradford, known as East Vorona. - b) There are approximately 6,120,984 males between the ages of 15 and 65 in Porthfield, known as West Vorona. - c) The unemployment rate has dipped slightly but remains at 11%. - d) Vorona lacks a professional military. Article 2 To create, under the supervision of the President and the Ministry of Defense led by the Minister of Defense, the Voronan Army, Voronan Navy, Voronan Air Force, and Voronan Elite Forces. These branches shall serve together as the professional military apparatus of the Voronan Armed Forces. Article 3 To require all Voronan males between the ages of 15 and 65 to be registered for the military draft, and to require at least 300,000 members each in the Voronan Army, Navy, and Air Force, and to require at least 1,000 in the Voronan Elite Forces. The total minimum membership level of the entire Voronan Armed Forces shall be 901,000 in the upcoming weeks following the passage of this act. |
