Bill: Abolition of Government State Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Keymon New Frontier Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3779

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

we believe that Keymon's agricultural sector is strong enough to guarantee food supply for our population, and that there is no need for the state to operate own farms which are not subject to the laws of competition unlike ordinary farmers. By abolishing government-owned farms, we can provide a stimulus to the agricultural sector by allowing private farms to take over their resources, facilities and lands, and by leaving the production of 'strategic crops' to the market.

Gary Holmwood MGA
Minister of Agriculture

MessageOOC: Obviously this bill should be named "abolition of government farms" or "abolition of state farms". Sorry for the mistake, I did not wish to make a call for anarchy^^
