The constitution of Hutori is amended to include the following Bill of Rights: Article 1. The following rights shall bind the state as directly applicable law. Article 2. All persons shall be born free and equal in dignity and rights. Article 3. All persons shall have the right to life, liberty and physical integrity. Article 4. All persons shall have the right to freedom of thought, conscience and belief. Article 5. All persons shall have the right freely to express and disseminate their opinions. Article 6. All forms of censorship shall be prohibited. Article 7. All persons shall have the right to own property. Article 8. All persons shall have the right to keep and bear arms for the purpose of their defense. Article 9. All persons shall have the right to privacy. Article 10. The home shall be inviolable. Article 11. All persons shall be equal before the law. Article 12. All persons accused of a crime shall have the right to a free and public trial by an impartial tribunal. Article 13. All persons accused of a crime shall be considered innocent until proven guilty in a free, public and impartial trial. Article 14. No person shall be subject to cruel, inhuman or degrading punishment. Article 15. No person shall be held in slavery or servitude. Article 16. All persons shall have the right to assemble peacefully. Article 17. All persons shall have the right to form associations. Article 18. No person shall be unlawfully compelled to do anything against their will. Article 19. All Hutori citizens shall have the right to circulate freely throughout the national territory. Article 20. All Hutori citizens shall have the right to full suffrage. Article 21. Persons may only be deprived of their rights on an individual basis, as part of a sentence pronounced by a competent tribunal. |
