This issue has been raised several times recently by the PSS, we apologise for repeating this yet again, however we note that note all parties have participated in the voting process in the past. We re-introduce this legislation to the senate immediately and allow the votes to fall where they may, and pray that all parties will participate in this round of voting. |

Old value:: Religions are treated as companies, and all profit is taxed, however, charitable donations are not taxed.

Message | The AAS opposes for two reasons. 1) We do not agree with a 'special exemption' from ALL taxation... even for religions. 2) We do not agree with this 'recognised religions' idea. To the (currently, largely Atheistic) AAS, all religions are equal (And, of course, equally false). We do not agree that you can just 'choose' some religions to be more 'deserving' of tax exemption... or any other treatement. |
