Message | This an absolutely essential change. Our import/export trade must be free, with as little protectionism as possible. Only reciprocal tariffs can maintain any legitimacy. |

Message | We need to enshrine our commitment to free trade ASAP, as the Foreign Ministry is in the process of writing a "Treaty of Amity and Commerce with the Republic of Telamon," and, to ensure that none of our potential trade partners is getting a better deal than us, the treaty will require that all signatories institute either completely free trade or reciprocal tariffs. Obviously, for this treaty to go forward, we will need to implement them ourselves. |
