MessageThe NRP predicts that this measure may be controversial. Isolationists will oppose it in order to "avoid foreign entanglements" and nobody truly wants our men and women to go abroad as peacekeepers to conflicts where we are not directly threatened. However, nearly half of all Terra is enrolled in this alliance, including the only other two nations with whom we share our island home. Thus, as a preemptive measure to ensure peace in our homeland, it is logical that we band with them. Membership in the CSCO will confer upon us legitimacy and a place on the world stage, while ensuring that a significant percentage of Terra cannot, by treaty, attack us. It also ensures that if any nation is foolish enough to, we will have the backing of a huge military force - one exponentially greater than any we could summon ourselves. The National Republicanism Party, as part of its sworn duty to defend the Republic and increase its influence abroad, must recommend that Parliament immediately ratify this treaty and lead the Republic of Telamon into the Collective Security and Cooperation Organization.

Random fact: The majority of nations in Particracy are "Culturally Protected" with an established cultural background. Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation.
