Bill: Gun Ownership Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Radical New Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2168

Description[?]:

Why are we bothering to give background checks for people if only an extremely small percentage of people *actually* have a mental illness or violent criminality? And how do we even know that those people who *do* have said mental illness or violent criminality will actually do something against the law? We are talking extremely small percentages here. So why bother the other 99% of the population?

Random quote: "Up against the corporate government, voters find themselves asked to choose between look-alike candidates from two parties vying to see who takes the marching orders from their campaign paymasters and their future employers. The money of vested interest nullifies genuine voter choice and trust." - Ralph Nader
