And how do we even know that those people who *do* have said mental illness or violent criminality will actually do something against the law? We are talking extremely small percentages here. So why bother the other 99% of the population? |

Current: Adult individuals may not own firearms unless professionally required.
Proposed: Adult individuals are allowed to own and purchase guns freely.
