Bill: Drug Regulation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Green Party (FGP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3812
Description[?]:
It is the responsibility of government to regulate any addictive substances or activities (such as gambling) to assure that there is not a rampant abundance of addiction. Addiction negatively effects not only the addict but society as a whole, especially any immediate family members. Consider a child losing her home because her parents are addicted to drugs or lost the home due to gambling. This is why we seek to regulate drug usage just as we do with Tobacco and Alcohol currently. |
