Bill: Cabinet Power Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Federal Green Party (FGP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3813

Description[?]:

The purpose of this reform is to allow all political parties to propose a cabinet.

We feel this is much more democratic as well as inclusive of the democratic process. Besides this, with the recent radicalization of the President and his party, it is important for us to create a new cabinet. Requiring another brand new election seems to be a bit ridiculous. As a result, this reform appears to be the most reasonable way to have a cabinet proposal passed.

MessageThe Social-Democratic party fully supports this bill. We have actually pushed similar bill in the past. Unionists were the ones who enstabilished cabinet proposition powers of Head of State and we opposed to it.

MessageGood to hear! We are very pleased to see that our party is not the only one that sees the benefits of such a reform. Indeed, it might lead to us being more inclusive as well. Rather than relying on the President's Party to propose a cabinet we can all give proposals if we choose to do so. This is much more conducive to productive dialogue.

Cheers!

Message"The Unionists had convinced us to pass a bill to make the powers only given to the head of state when we had control over the senate, and we went along with it because we trusted them. We no longer trust the deceiving Unionists."

Message"The Unionists do not have mind powers. We don't recognize them as celestial beings. Why are the Unionists mocking us? We have been more sympathetic to their religion than most."
