Bill: Space Exploration Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3816

Description[?]:

"Let me get this straight: we spend millions of our tax payers dollars on funding trips to planets many of them do not care about? Why don't we let the people donate to private companies that will go into space? Privatizing space travel is smart because it adds another industry to our economy, and it takes burden off the tax payer. The responsibility for space travel is now no longer on the lower and middle class tax payer, but it is on the rich guy or girl who is retired and wants to make a name for him or her self. I don't get why this bill hasn't been proposed yet!"

~Ted Johnson, Head chairman of the LPS

MessageAs we have proposed in the past, we support a public-private venture for space exploration. We would vote for a bill that lets our national space agency contract projects to interested companies. We do not support an abolition of our national space agency.
