SEC. I

This bill creates a department within the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Media Regulatory Council, which will be responsible for setting standards to distinguish the erotic from the pornographic in all media, answering and investigating complaints, bringing offenders to justice and destroying illegal material.

SEC. II

Article 1 prohibits the distribution, purchasing and possession of pornographic material.

SEC. III

Article 2 prohibits the production of pornography in all media formats and of all types in the Republic.

SEC. IV.

Article 3 amends the law to criminalize the transmission over television airwaves of material that is pornographic in nature.

SEC. V.

Further regulation under this bill will be the domain of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

MessageJust because you can't do what the guys in pornos do doesn't mean you should lash out and ban pornography. Sounds like someone is jealous. Otherwise what reason would there be to want to ban it? There are no logical arguments for such a ban, leave people alone and let them do as they please with their own bodies.

MessageYOU are the ones who are clearly insecure. There are no reasons to ban pornography and there is never a justification for it, who gives you the right to ban movies that you don't like? I don't like some movies but you don't see me banning them, to do so would be ridiculous and completely unfounded.
