Bill: Tree Replantation Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Radical Freedom Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2169
Description[?]:
Realising that the current government programme for "encouraging" of tree replantation is unfortunately the worst of both worlds; Lamenting that the current Federal policy does not set any stringent guidelines to make sure that trees are replanted, and further lamenting that the calculations needed do provide significant costs for the government, cutting into the limited finances of the Ministry of the Environment; Resolves to cut efforts for the advanced replantation of trees on the Federal level and devolve this matter to local governments, but without impositioning the requirement for an independent tree replantation policy; Strongly encourages all local government to incorporate tree replantation as an element of permits for woodcutting activities |

Proposal[?] to change The government's policy on tree plantation.
Old value:: The government encourages, but does not require new and replacement plantation.
