Message"Why does the government have to proclaim legalization? If legalization isn't proclaimed, it's still legal, but the government will not be tempted to regulate or eliminate these rights. Also, nationalizing abortion is a stupid idea. Too many people are against it for the national government to claim that it is legal for everyone. What if the government starts forcing abortions in certain situations? That'd be quite terrible."

MessageThe Reform Option is deeply committed to the values of Federalism. There are very few bills that we would consider voting for that centralize power.

As far as these other areas, we have to agree with the LPS on this one. What benefit is there to legalizing these areas formally? If they are already de-facto legal then there doesn't appear to be a change to the status of crossdressing or interracial sex by proclaiming legality.
