Bill: Next government action discussion
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Solentia (CPS)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3822
Description[?]:
After our military surrounded Mendos, we should decide what to do next. SDP congress suggests these variants: 1. If TFC will not surrender, our military will immidiately attack to destroy the terrorists and liberate the city. 2. Another option is to give full amnesty to TFC members if TFC surrenders peacefully and then is disbanded. Julia Wise, President of Solentia |

Message | "The Unionists would support a move by the Government to liberate Mendos at the earliest opportunity. Their silence and ignorance of this matter has caused hundreds of deaths with an entire City under rebel control for over a year. The Armed Forces ought to be given command of the situation and granted authority to enter Mendos and recapture it. Civillians ought to be evacuated as swiftly as possible to limit and minimise casualties and control of the City should be under the military for a transition period of one year. We will accept nothing less- the time has gone for niceties and weakness. This Government's incompetence has cost this country enough of it's people." Astryd Goldsea, Unionist Leader |

Message | They're fundamentalists, they only understand war. However they've had a long time to prepare an extended defence since the government was so slow to react. We see option one as the only realistic option, but it won't be easy furthermore i wan't to warn the government about consentrating all it's millitary power in one place, as TFC said - they have cells in every state in Solentia. It's time to see this as a national issue, not only a state issue. Adam Reed FT |

Message | "Maybe they understand more than war. We should try and understand their culture and their point of view before we commit to a genocide. The FT should understand that the Ahmad people might view the FT religion as barbaric. We all have different cultures." ~Ted Johnson, Head Chairman of the LPS and Prime Minister |

Message | "Does the LPS even understand the situation? How would repressing a civic revolt be genocide?" Astryd Goldsea, Unionist Leader |

Message | "Ok, our stance on the issue is that we shall only murder terrorists. We shall not send strikes on the enemy country's civilians. We should try to be as loving and peaceful as possible. Wouldn't Ahmadism or Theognostiquism agree with that?" ~Ted Johnson, Head Chairman of the LPS and Prime Minister |

Message | We have proposed the Teshuen Resolution which will be changed to reflect a more moderate policy put forward by the Unionists. The Teshuen Resolution ends the crisis now. |

Message | Nysae has just fallen. Within another year Teshuen may very well be an enemy country at this rate. |
