Bill: Major Educational Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Green Party (FGP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3822
Description[?]:
The FGRP is a strong advocate of educational excellence and scientific achievement. Consistent with our views, we propose that education be handled entirely by state and local governments. This bill would have our school policies from Pre-School through the University level handled entirely by local and state governments. To clarify: States would be able to set policies and educational standards, local governments would be the ones running the schools but would have to meet or exceed the standards proposed by the state they are in. States would also determine policies such as whether nurseries should be operate privately or if there should be public nurseries as well as daycare centers operating alongside them. |
