MessageWe would vote in favor of Article 2 by itself. We cannot, however, vote for a bill that permits discrimination in the workplace.

How is it freedom for people to not be able to get a job somewhere based solely on their race, religion, or gender? I do not consider myself free if I cannot even get a job due to something that I have no control over. Not getting a job because you are under qualified? Sure, this makes sense. Not getting it solely due to my race. I'm sorry, but there is nothing anyone can do to change that. As a result it is a ridiculous thing to allow for.

We know this bill is specifically about positive discrimination, but to say that the government should not regulate hiring policies at all would open up a terrible scenario for minorities in our country.

Message"Listen, it's impossible to truly tell whether a business is discriminating based on race. Even if anti-discrimination laws are in place in the hiring world, racists still discriminate subconsciously."

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
