Message | Mr Speaker, We have found rare common ground with PF, public financing will go a long way towards making Lodamun less corrupt and more democratic. Amanda Greentree FJS Chair |

Message | Mr. Speaker, May Amanda Greentree care to explain how this will make Lodamun more democratic? And is she calling the current administration corrupt? The current law is arguably more democratic. All parties get equal visibility. Our fear with allowing parties to accept private donations is that private businesses will fund their favourite parties and give them more visibility than parties that are not pro-business. We believe all parties should be equally visible so that the people can choose. We do not want big money to determine the visibility of parties and therefore their chances at success in elections. -- Andre Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Minister of Trade/Industry, Vice President of Lodamun |

Message | Mr. Speaker, it is donations that will cause corruption. Ludwig Murphy LNC chairman vice-President of Lodamun |

Message | Mr Speaker, We would prefer campaigns to be 100% publicly financed but this is a step in the right direction. Amanda Greentree FJS a Chair |

Message | Mr. Speaker, My party would also support such a bill. Campaigns should be 100% publicly financed. I realised that I did not read the current law properly. I am getting old and my eyes are not in their best condition. We prefer the proposed law over the current law, as it will give parties more even visibility than they have under the current law where all parties rely entirely on private funds. We would, however, prefer if campaigns were 100% publicly-financed. -- Andre Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Minister of Trade/Industry, Vice President of Lodamun |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We don't agree with this bill on the grounds that we reject based on thr following premise We don't feel that adding donations helps in fair elections, in fact we feel that it plays a role that it shouldn't. José Batlle y Ordóñez Chairman of red party |

Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe |
