Bill: Military Service

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative-Libertarian Party (UM)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2168

Description[?]:

We believe that, shold this bill pass, we would see better discipline in the country, people respecting the country more, lower crime rates and generally, a better quality of life. We have also left some choice open to the people, so that they do not necessarily have to participate in warfare, but will be helping to defend their country.

MessageAgainst forced labour of those who have committed no crime! This is very close to slavery and we cannot support it.

The current legislation allows for a draft in times of war and that is sufficient.
