Bill: Ecotourism Withdrawal

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative-Libertarian Party (UM)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2168

Description[?]:

We should withdraw from this treaty. Although we believe that the environment and culture of Hutori should be preserved, we believe that this bill infringes too much on the rights of our citizens. We believe that privatization should be allowed, and that, if needs be, business should come before the environment. We don't know what will happen in the future, but this treaty stops us from acting on the unpredictable. We therefore call for freedom to our government to decide our own environmental policies.
