MessageOne thing about the old-old way things were here were the constant elections. They never got anything done anyway, so all it did was shift a few seats around. Longer term lengths are to the advantage of zero parties, they get more time to get established. 4 years is just fine, and besides, 36 months would give us inconsistant election months again.
