Message | I do like both of these articles. But I do wonder, what happens if there is not a union in the business? Are there limitless working hours? Would workers be forced to work 80 hours a week in such a situation or be fired from their jobs? I do agree that unions and employers should hash out daily working hours, but where there are no unions the government should establish a minimum of daily working hours/overtime pay laws. Then where there are unions these may negotiate less working hours or higher overtime pay than the legally required minimum. |
