Bill: Drug Legalization
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3827
Description[?]:
"Government shouldn't determine what people intake. The private market should. Example: If a restaurant owner doesn't want people smoking, he can ban smoking. If a family doesn't want to go to a smoking restaurant, they just shouldn't go. We'd also legalize all recreational drugs, and we'd hold drug users accountable for their actions. The vaccination part comes in because just as the government shouldn't stop people from taking drugs, they shouldn't force people to taking drugs either. I know this bill will pass, and I'm glad to see these changes in Solentia!" ~Ted Johnson, Head Chairman of the LPS and Prime Minister |

Message | 1. The government should absolutely regulate drug usage. They should not be illegal, but we should have regulations on all drugs from tobacco and alcohol to marijuana and harder drugs. The National Government should establish some sort of minimum regulations (such as age restrictions) and then local governments could establish further regulations beyond the national minimum. 2. So if I am a government employee I have to get cancer in order to perform my job duties. Not really sure how this makes sense in any way, shape, or form. Bad enough when people smoke right outside of the door, now you want people to have to breathe in the smoke all the time at work? What if I have a breathing condition? I am supposed to either leave my job or suffer? 3. We disagree, vaccinations should remain mandatory to prevent outbreaks of serious illnesses that could kill millions of our people. It is not fair for babies who are too young to get vaccinated, you would kill them because you personally choose not to get vaccinated. How does that make any sense? I agree, if you only harmed yourself then it should not be mandated. Unfortunately this is not how it works and you ARE harming other people who for one reason or another cannot get vaccinated even if they chose to do so. 4. Hemp regulations should remain up to local governments. Some may wish to have stricter regulations than others, let them! |

Message | "Article 3 makes total sense. The only people effected are those who CHOOSE not to get vaccinated." ~Ted Johnson |
Date | 09:04:11, April 06, 2015 CET | From | Liberty Dawn | To | Debating the Drug Legalization |
Message | "Mr Speaker, The Liberty Dawn agrees with articles 2 and 4. Regarding drug use, we remain opposed to it's total legalisation and would prefer to se this regulated at the local level, close to the people affected. The LD is generally against unnatural drugs and would not have them legalised. We would prefer the government to still encourage vaccinations, but the ultimate responsibility should be with parents. We know all to well that Big Pharma can't be trusted - they make up new diseases to vaccinate people against for money. Ardavan al-Masoud Liberty Dawn Science Spokesman |

Message | "Not content merely with allowing child molesters to have access to the adoption process, unsatisfied with only allowing children to smoke and drink alcohol, blasé about their attempted legalisation of child pornography...the Loony Paedophiles Party is now attempting to kill children by allowing parents to prevent access to vital vaccinations. The LPS will do anything, absolutely anything, to damage, molest and now kill the children of Solentia." Astryd Goldsea, Unionist Leader |
