Message | Were are against this reform. With private clinics, we currently allow them but we strongly regulate them to protect our citizens, with less legislation private clinics could potentially deliberately cause harm to some patients so they need more care thus they gain more money. With pharmaceutical drugs we believe everyone has the right to get them for free, working class average wage families should not have to pay for medicines that they might desperately need. With vaccinations, we believe we have to enforce them in order to protect our citizens from epidemics, if only a handful of children are vaccinated then that means the disease in questions could cause chaos if it was ever on a large scale such as ebola. |

Message | This is a step back not a step forward. Vaccines must be compulsory to protect those most vulnerable, those most ill, and to protect those who don't trust vaccines even if they will protect them. Clinics must have the same standard of care or better than a public health service to ensure those using Clinics are not harmed. We oppose this law. DDA |

Message | Mr Speaker, The State should not act as the people's mommy - we can't take every big decision and responsibility away from our citizens. The market will make sure that private clinics will compete with one another and thereby create a low cost, highly efficient and top class private health care system. Message | As I said earlier, all the competiveness will do is simply make companies cut corners to maximise profits, which is why STRICT regulation is needed. |

Message | Mr Speaker, This is not true. Companies will focus on maintaining a good image and will also be fighting a stronger Workers' Union and will therefor be forced to create a good environment and provide a decent paycheck for their workers each month. Message | Which is why they will cover up their wrong doings. Who said everyone was honest? The world is filled with liars and cheats who will do anything for an extra bit of cash, which is why we need government regulation to help stop this injustice and make sure people get the healthcare they deserve. |

Message | We are against this as well. We wouldn't be extremely opposed to the first two articles, but nixing mandatory vaccinations is not acceptable. It may give the state the "mommy" responsibility, but if diseases return due to people not getting vaccinated, we will all end up paying more for healthcare and possibly in lives. It also harms the people who can't be vaccinated for medical reasons as they cannot be guaranteed herd immunity. |
Date | 14:16:16, April 15, 2015 CET | From | Radical Democrats | To | Debating the Health Reform |
Message | Mr Speaker, People should selv determine if their children should vaccinated or not. There are people who - with good reasons - choose to not vaccinate their children. There are also cases where children are allergic or in other ways become worse of after being vaccinated. It should therefor up to the parents of these children to determine wether or not they will be vaccinated. Isobel Hart Party Leader of the Radical Democrats Radical MFP, Dolgariapolis, Lirath |
