MessageThese two policies are completely unrelated and should be voted on separately. Putting a popular policy with a controversial one purely for political advantage is shameful and extremely damaging to our democracy. We suggest this bill be pulled from the floor and separated.

With regards to the policies at hand, a further increase of the minimum wage will only harm those most in need. Workers add a certain value to a firm and so the firm will be wiling to pay this or a competitor will. If we force firms to pay those adding low value (e.g. young people lacking in experience) more than they currently do they will just lose their jobs. Only those already earning a living wage (or close to) will be employable at this rate. There are better ways of helping the poor.

Obviously our party supports the rights of crossdressers. We are disappointed this eve needs to be said.

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.

Random quote: "One day our descendants will think it incredible that we paid so much attention to things like the amount of melanin in our skin or the shape of our eyes or our gender instead of the unique identities of each of us as complex human beings." - Franklin Thomas
