As all citizens pay taxes, all citizens should be entitled to this benefit. We support this bill.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We do not support this bill. We do not think that the rich or ultra rich persons should be entitled for 'free medicine' because they are the ones who can afford it. Free Medicine would also lead to over-consumption that is a direct attack on our health care budget.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Wealthy citizens pay much more taxes than non-wealthy ones. Our taxes are almost punitive for the wealthy, and are intended to put everyone on a more equal level after taxes are paid. Everyone pays taxes. Let everyone benefit from simple public services. It is much easier to let all citizens benefit than to waste money on checking who is rich and who is poor.
